This week, the communication, she not so good. So, in observance of that:

1. Pickles are good.
2. I thought it was winter. This is not winter. I am confused, but not upset.
3. Facebook games ARE stupid. But the site works for connection better than any other.
4. If you want something done, give it to a busy man who has a nice brother.
5. Drinks are on the house. No, it means that we're working on the roof, and if you want a drink, they're up there. Don't drink and drive, however. Drive nails, that is.

In no particular order, I want to make hacksilver, a venetian cooking frame, all the way through Egoscue's #2 routine, a stained glass window, working cars and motorcycle, a pot of purple tulips, fondue for friends, a rideable clamshell, some praise poems, the vent fan work, money.

Right. Hopefully com-foo will fade soon.

I'd love to hang out some time. Maybe we should do a poet's workshop. I intend to write a book of 101 naughty haiku.

I know where you can find some good glass, and even some stained glass tools. Call me.

You are right: it is obviously NOT winter.

It sure is nice though! (I suppose we should be praying for rain, but gosh, this weather feels so GOOD!)

"a rideable clamshell" just sounds dirty.

I would argue that for true connection, LJ is better *once* you've found people. Facebook is the easiest place to find people, by far! (though, we SCA folk are handicaped in that we often don't know our friend's real names, but the "people you may know" tool makes that less of an issue--if you don't recognize the name, click to see your mutual friends, and if they are all SCA, odds are good that this one is too. If all else fails a "have we met?" note can be sent...

interesting array of thoughts you have lingering about. perhaps a good old fashioned hand written letter is a sure fire way to connect with those you are missing. if that doesn't meet your desires, a phone call?

pickles are wonderful!

facebook games are games, but stupid interaction is better than being lonely or staved for NO interaction.

i want to make a stained glass...something, too. but i have no idea where to begin and haven't made time to research.

sending smiles to go with the beautiful sunshine. ;)

Stained glass I can help you with;

A letter means I have both address, and something to say other than "Hi". And it's still a great idea, thanks.

That's only about 1/5 of the thoughts banging around in my head.
