Or, "Everything Always happens at once, or Nothing happens at all"
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Now, I move on to all the birthday doin's. Or more actually, return to action. I've always had more fun making things happen than waiting; it's better to have 3 plans in air than one plan in suspension, for me. And reviewing past birthdays, it's the ones where there have been fabulous parties...well, not as fabulous as some other parties, but parties, and frankly, I organize a better party than most. (Not all...Ysabella, you have turned other people's lives to parties.)
This past weekend went up to Oregon with JW and accomplished the goal of singing at a Victorian House with the Baker Street Irregulars, who kindly welcomed me into their harmony. And Judy made me a very very nice vest to wear, so I looked snazz (pictures on facebook at some point) but nothing beats what the ladies looked and sounded like. Missed A&S, missed Little Feat, missed Free Folk Festival--who cares? Sang! Got and read a new book by Tom Robbins! Got inspired to work on house projects!
But the next date where everything is on the same day is July 11th. FNW has Bastille Day Dance in Oakland with the wonderful Baguette Quartette, DeathRaven is doing the mountain ride
