If I was to do a Discworld movie, I'd want Alan Speakman for Vimes, Rowan At. for Nobby, Brian Blessed for Ridcully, Hugh Laurie just because (but really, for Moist von Lipwig), Stephen Fry as a wizard, Simon Pegg for CMOT Dibbler, the kid playing Harry Potter for Ponder Stibbons, the Australian movie guy for Rincewind, aaargh my brain is gone. The kid from Transformers (Shia Lebouf?) for Pteppic, Sasha Cohen B. for something, Clint Eastwood for Cohen the Barbarian, Christina Ricci as Susan (for the stare), Johnny Depp just because,

If it was a Discworld SCA thang, well, Geoffrey Mathias as Veternari; Bjorn, Corwyn da Costa, Rat, Myself as the Wizards*, Siobhan of Cloverdale as Mistress Weatherwax, Gwydion as that stupid looking kid with the flute in Maurice, Genvieve d. Vendome as Susan, Brocc as CMOT Dibbler, Jessica Joy (Khalida) as Nanny Ogg, Nather as Sgt. Colon with Ouch as Nobby and Bucket as Carrot, which means...yeah, Nightmare would be a GREAT Vimes, and Nymue is certainly a witch early on, and melty melty brain. Nevynn would play death, but he'd be voiced by...probably me. Jared could do Vimes as well, or Cohen. And the Silver Horde? Wulf von Markheim, Heinrick, Paul of Bellatrix, Stiengrim... Americ de Foix could also do Nobby, but that's missing his talents.
*This list is waaaaaay too easy to expand.
3. Fire in the firepit is good.
4. Good german food is soul food for me. Yay Hardy's Bavaria!
5. I have been reading WAAAY too much.
6. What is it, in action (deed), that embodies a knight in the SCA? A pelican? A laurel? How do I own the peerages I have, and represent them, what virtues should I express, actions I take, connections I make? A brother knight has called me on one aspect of my knighthood, rightfully so, what should I do? Thinking.
7. Lotta people to pray for. I also pray thanks for friends, tomatoes, and the love going on.
8. Off to pretend to sleep. Goodnight!
