5 Make a Post

1. Yay! Welcome, Lumina!

2. I bought the wood today to make the first Wardian Case--a travelling one. 5' redwood boards. Looking at images from the internet, most of them were glass on both sides, and made of single planks, and actually quite large. I have some glass, and think I'll make this one the size of the side table that Vytas gifted me, so it can live in front of the front window. Image here:

This one will be redwood fence boards, and populated with high humidity plants.

3. The food this weekend was amazing. After a beach trip on Sunday, cheeseburgers in the Haight (on Divisadero) at KK Cafe. They were the ultimate! Monday, barbeque with fresh corn, and homemade potato salad--the potatoes had a buttery flavor that went extremely well with the mustard/dill/mayo dressing.

4. Need to start training back up. Toward what goal? I think it's time to fight until I drop below 300, when I can go back to aikido.

5. I need a job. Or to be a kept man. Preferably a job.

Heh, you would suck at being kept, unless it was on a *very* long leash. ;)
