There's water on the moon. And soon, NASA will drop a rock (et) to look for more:
LCROSS is orbiting the moon, carrying the upper-stage Centaur rocket that sent it into space less than four months ago. On Oct. 9 at 4:30 a.m., the Ames team will send that 2-ton rocket crashing precisely into the target to send up a cloud of dust and debris more than 6 miles high.

G20 summit has had some protests, but has agreed to slightly change the voting percentages for the IMF. This is what the Americans proposed, so it's a big success...??? Interesting.
Strikes in Palo Alto and Berkeley...well, not strikes, walkouts, voluntary furloughs, and marches with sit ins.
