Literary analysis of Norse feasts 9-12th century: Meat, Fish, no chicken

So, long fire, with cauldrons hanging over; roast cow food, or seethed (boiled) cow soup. Perhaps fish, (herring!). Sausages possible. Spices a bit different, of course. (Dilled horseradish roast beef online?) Mead (could be simple) and beer; blessing ceremony from the Saga.
