1. Crown was fun, the class for the St. Mary's kids went well, I thought; thanks to Sue, Francis and Johanna. Could do better. Split up the class and give them activities.

This is the version I grew up listening to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMiY-nOm3SI ... I think my Golden Gate Quartet LP was from 1950, which leads me to doubt that the venerable gentlemen on YouTube are the ones I grew up listening to, but the arrangement sounds the same.

You were in my dream last night. You took off from a dirt runway by a southern Baja hostel/cantina, flying a rusty bucket of a biplane that you had cobbled together from (among other things) old tuba parts. You phoned in jocular distress messages regularly for the next half hour, though apparently the distress never prevented you from making your destination.
