West Kingdom Fears

It's easy to look and see machinations; easy to listen and hear fear. The past teaches us that some are clumsy in some things, and stupidity does happen. But will it take away your birthday, or hurt your honor? Only if you are involved.

Remember, honor is you holding to your values, virtues and word. Reputation is what other people think of you. If your honor is good, and theirs bad, what problem?

For me, I'm looking forward to doing some small fun things, like the PPF, and singing at October Crown, probably coronet as well.

I've been kicking myself for missing the last PPF... and now I suspect I have to miss this one too. [pout] Cannot leave the baby for that long and cannot travel her to that sort of event without a fair amount of glaringly modern stuff... which seems like a sucky thing to do to other people's ambiance.

What about the PPF most interests you?

A lot of the experience can be exported, in a smaller way.

Unfortunately the part I find most intriguing is the part hardest to replicate small scale- the communal nature of the activity. In addition to all the work done by those putting on the PPF, there's the aspect of performance- a suspension of modernity- by a largeish collective. That's what I'd most like to experience and at the moment what I'd be most likely to derail.

Hopefully these will continue to be successful and popular and will become a staple of the calendar for years to come. :)
