Year End 5's.

Two much thinking/mulling/musing/whimping, not enough discussion. Let the 5s begin!

FIVE THINGS I WILL DO NEXT YEAR


1. Ride with the San Jose Bike Party ride, with Morgan and/or Rick. Represent waltzing/tweed there, perhaps.

2. Finally go visit the Winchester Mystery House. Never done it. With someone. Cathyn?

3. Run a 5 K.

4. Make it to some of the big events: Estrella, West/An Tir, Pennsic?

5. Dang. I forget #5. Little help? Can you suggest an Adventure?

Today I took my nephew to Santa Cruz, on the philosphy that vacation demands adventure. Drove 17 in a weakening windstorm, talking about everything and nothing, visited huggy friends (one of whom was suddenly shy), bought spices at the Herb Room (superior pickling spice there, but couldn't resist buying some sassafras root, wildgathered.) Took him down to the mall, where he bought a new plank, and I cruised the winter farmer's market. Drove by the beach then back over the hill; lots of driving for...adventure!

Listening to DJ Mashup, getting things together. Where will we go today?

Would LOVE to go to the Winchester Mystery House--Aaron and I were just talking about a trip there--neither of us have ever been.
