PEPPER SEEDS, LOCAL

http://userwebs.batnet.com/rwc-seed/ (as recommended by Yamagani's staff)

Best mail order.

Note that I have an obvious preference for open pollinated heirloom seeds, rather than hybrids, for what I consider obvious reasons.

I like Nichols Garden Nursery, that's where I found the Aji Amarillo that the beef heart recipe calls for.

Mmmm variety meats :-)

Regan's is a mile from my house. I love going there. Any time you want to go, let me know!

Ooh, those nice Redwood City people sell Red Manzano. Which have been my favouritest own-grown chillies ever, even here in chilly England...

say, would you be interested in having people throw in a few extra dollars to buy some of your fresh seeds? I won't use a whole packet...you could, for example, split the packet and buy twice as many varieties?

Sure!

I haven't met a pepper I didn't like (although I've had plenty I had to de-seed and grind to make edible) but I'm all about the heirloom and the odd. Besides it makes me happy to think of us sharing plants and plans.
