Dinner last night

Elkburgers   (elk, 1 egg, pepper, salt)  grilled on the barbeque
White corn     grilled
artichokes    grilled (not eaten, too late to eat)
spinach salad with blue cheese dressing
Spud Salad with mustard dressing and garden plants (chard and beet greens)
Fruit (grapes, peaches, cherries. )

Very nice.

I first read that as "1 elk", which was an interesting mental image with which to start my week.

My brother Kurt and I were eating...

still not possible, but a nice image. 1 lb of elk, that's what the base was, 3 burgers.

Ooh sounds deeelish! I am looking forward to my greens getting big enough. Unfortunately, my fruit trees this year got their buds frozen off, so no fruit off our trees this year. I am hoping my beets do well, as I have gotten addicted to roasted beet salad with goat cheese and a light dressing of lemon/olive oil...

I am tempted to make an asparagus garden on the E. side of our house, as well the neighbor's tree gone, we have an epic buttload of sunlight (we have serious grass growing there now, in SPITE of the gravel and landscape fabric. =)

Oh, that sounds lovely! And the bonus of left over roasted artichoke for lunch or whatever today is a good one.
