Musings...

1.  My friends are having adventures--Pennsic, Burning Man, foriegn travels--and I'm not that motivated to go to these things.  So, I went to the beach yesterday (after taking a friend to the airport) and sat on the sand and watched the kelp and the pelicans flying.  Mmm.

2. Working the remodel of the bathroom--holy moly, there's a lot of knowledge there...and little choices make big differences.  It's strange to see how technology has changed so much since the last time I was patching holes in walls.    You can't find greenboard now, people use blue. Tiling's improved.  In floor heating is easy.   Granite everywhere.  But lots of knowledge.

I love sitting on the beach and haven't done it in too long. Maybe there will need to be a trip to one of the nearer beaches before the summer is out - although I'd really rather go to the one on the Cape with the snails that we discovered would stick out their foot to right themselves when flipped. The snails on the other beaches wouldn't do it. Go figure.

But right now I'm getting us recovered from Pennsic. Next year I will try harder to convince you to come. We had a wedding feast in camp with a mumming. You would have enjoyed it I think. :-)

Small steps, small adventures, better than no steps, no adventures.

Kelp flying is fun. :)

LOVE that you took advantage of beachy beauty and are learning lots of lavatory levity.
