Used to be a restaurant in Willow Glen, in a barely converted gas station, called "Eat Here or We'll Both Starve"-Aussie Food. The owner was an old man who'd been all over, and he proudly served 100% American beef, (steaks and burgers), and fish, and some pasta as I remember. The help staff was handicapped, and he (the owner) cooked and chatted and served the alcohol, of which there was plenty. Decor was limited, and the food was special only if you were interested in Australiana (burger with beetroot?!!) but good, and...I didn't get there often. I wonder what happened to it...
