Quick Precis: Went to set off to Mendocino, choosing to spend time that way. Need to stop and buy a little food, and a map. Pack stuff, making a virtue of disorganization by taking less stuff thereby, and head to the farmer's market for some basic food. Park illegally.

Go, shop, come back with bags full of food. Motorcycle is there. Tank bag is there. Keys are in the ignition (on). Repeat: Everything is still there. I am Fortune's Fool! Policeman motors by, and waves! Truely, fortune!

Load motorcycle with food. Mount. Start. Wait, battery out of juice. Push one mile home. Put on charger.

And now, exercised, and given a lesson in taking care of small things, off we go!

Mendocino? That is kinda funny. We couldn't see a couple of labyrinths on Sat because the woman who would have taken us there was in Mendocino having their own Daffodils and Labyrinths weekend. Next year, that might be what I am doing.
