Listing of Events:
Thursday: After getting all the signoffs from work on Wednesday, reveled in the Freedom by going for a short bike ride withselkiediver. Bike kicked butt. Walked it off, visiting horses and deer and dogs with her, then headed out to grab jacked from Road Rider with a coffee stop on the way. mmmmm peets. Dropped by Mom's, headed home, packed, made it to GScott's work in time to head to Lu Crapaud tournament. Got there at 9, armored up, went through the toast, thought about perspective, and using a dead shield and a borrowed mace was blown out in two rounds. Got everything packed again, tried for pizza in Davis, no luck, drove to Willits, crashed in a motel. 4 AM.
FRIDAY Rained all day. Wandered around town looking for food, ended up at the safeway, met up with our campfriend. Headed up, got onsite at noon, picked a space (hey, saw turkeys on the way in, pity you weren't there Garandaman!) and set up the pavilion. No one else showed for 4 hours. Helped them set up, grabbed dinner, sang a bit, played hearts, cleaned up, crashed.
SATURDAY. Rain stopped in the morning. Armored up, retaped polearm, went out; polearm blew tip in the second battle, so borrowed dane ax. 4 Impasse, 4 open slope, 4 bridge, 4 castle; many deeds of whacking, including the Defense of DelaTour, Axes on the Bridge, The Felling of the Trees, Fish in a Barrel Castle, and Around the Sally in 30 seconds. Fought in the defender of the trees tournament. Downarmored, ate dinner, chatted, dressed, chatted, drank sake, sang...slept.
SUNDAY. Got up, played WAR with the 4 year old next door, stretched, packed...ready to go by 10. Being busier, fussier, and having more stuff, GS was ready by 4, so spent some time in Bellatrix's Basic class (wow!) and teaching some moves to Forgul, and others. Got back, went and played Carcassone.
MONDAY Read book. Dealt with paperwork. Talked with friend.
NOW. Dealing with paperwork.

Turkeys?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?
We had a few Turkeys hangin' around the ranch house... even have video tape of them eating bugs in the front yard!!! All were hens, so they were happily munching away without a worry in the world.
Sounds like ya had an enjoyable extended weekend!
We should try for a bbq as soon as this weather clears up. Could be something as simple as Teriyaki steaks or chicken, and throw some vegi's as well on the grill. Catch ya later!
