Some Notes and Facts:

Contraception/Abortion: In September 1998, the FDA approved the application of Gynétics, Inc. of Belle Mead, NJ, to market America’s first dedicated ECP product, the PREVENÔ Emergency Contraceptive Kit. PREVENÔ consists of Yuzpe regimen ECPs,

(Note: Not during Bush's regime.)

Another drug that may eventually gain use as an ECP is mifepristone (formerly known as RU 486). Studies using mifepristone as an ECP have found it to be highly effective in preventing pregnancy, and to have a low incidence of side effects.13-15 However, The Population Council, the non-profit organization that holds the U.S. patent for mifepristone, has sought FDA approval for the drug only for use in medical abortion. Further, The Population Council has not yet found a manufacturer to produce the drug for the U.S. market. Only time will tell whether mifepristone, once it clears the political and economic hurdles that have kept it from American women, becomes a common emergency contraceptive method.

I feel almost certain that there is context as to why you posted this.

Sigh... Okay.

I guess Bush is evil then. I mean, look at what all of those obviously unbiased news reports had to say.

Okay, LiveJournal limits my answer. Go to: http://www.doghaus.org/rants.html

Know that my biggest problems with both sides are expansion of federal government. I don't see how Kerry will fix that.

Brother Lou and brother John don't always agree.

It happens.

Same holds true with my sister and I. Just because you're family, doesn't mean you will share the same opinions. Everything has a bias, it's just being aware of the other side.

Nor do my sister the rabid Republican and I. But we still love one another, and can kid about stuff. There are things we don't talk about, because we've decided we're not going to get anywhere. ...
