Go for Alaska

Making a Virtue of Necessity, a lot of winging it will be done since a lot of preparation won't. But hey, got a bike, got a destination, will figure out the rest on the way. Updates, however, will cease for a bit.

Planning on a "Bon Voyage Barbeque" next Friday. More details soon.

I'll explain later.

Yaay, he's going!

Found pics of you and Teleri posing at WK 12th Night a few years ago. I *think* I gave you copies then....

Yah for Alaska! I hope you take some time to really enjoy the trip.

I saw some pictures of you from a long time ago last night. [livejournal.com profile] riolent had them mixed in with some other pictures she was showing us. I think we all must have crossed paths in the 80s and not even noticed. Thinking about things like that is odd, somehow. Hmmm.

BTW: Is that the baby black sea bass at the Aquarium? Or is it a really big striper? I tell you, all I ask is to be allowed 5 minutes in the tuna tank with my spear gun. Is that too much to ask? I mean really....

Baby Bass!

Well, perhaps. But you may not want to run into an adult black sea bass. They are about as big as a VW. I've seen them a couple times. Once I was hanging at 15 feet in the water column. There was nothing around me, then suddenly this HUGE fish swims by. I thought to myself that I could climb in and go for a ride. Really, they are quite large.

Wow, you're going! That's great - I'm jealous! Have fun, do interesting things. Tell us about them. What will you do about your roomate thing while you're gone? We've definately got to have lunch this week!

You could come along

if you quit your job, bought a motorcycle, and was willing to risk it all...no. Save yourself for the Big Sur Dayadventure, the great Labrynth escape, the dancing to GlitterPunk (no, wait, we already did that) and other adventures!

Safe journeys. If all goes as planned (which hasn't been happening for at least a week now), we will be out of town on Friday evening. I'll be most sorry to miss your bon voyage. I'll have to hold out for hugs when you return. =)
