Plan 9 from Inner Passage

Modified Event plan:

It's raining lightly here, but the general strike rumored for tomorrow seems to have been called off. My hosts are graciously extending me another day's crashspace, and if the ferry crews don't strike, I'll take the Tuesday ferry down the inland passage to Port Hardy. Alas, it is a night run, but the daytime runs don't start until mid-June. Then I can hit Victoria Island, hop back over to Vancouver, see some friends, and come down the coast...that's the plan, at least.

Sacramento wouldn't happen to be on the return trip, would it? *heh* Actually, the weather has been horribly hot here lately... -_- Hopefully it'll go down soon. They told us it would, and that should have started Friday. It was in the 90's yesterday! How is that better?

At any rate... Continued safe journey. ^_^ Hope the ferry trip brings up nifty sea life for your viewing pleasure! Or something along those lines. Maybe feed the seagulls? (Last time I was on a big boat we would hold out pretzels and chips and the seagulls would fly down and snatch them out of our hands. ^_^)
