Driving force?

learnteachSo. I've hooked up with friends in Vancouver WA.
They're saying "What's the rush?" "Stay a little". There's a forge here, and all the tools to make anything you want from a newt toe forgekabob fork* (just finished touching up someone else's) to a full on naginata in damascus (although there's not quite the quenching area, but it could be put together). And a bunkroom, and computer with Civ III loaded, and SF books, and minatures, and gamers, and garlic garlic sausage omelettes...
I'll be back. With armor, and workout clothes, and plans. It's interesting how quickly the time can fill with cool things.
*Forgekabobs: meat cooked on the forge fire. Newt toe fork: Fork with three splayed wide tines. Looks like a newt foot.
Powell's. Crater Lake. Ashland. Get them on the backwash.
And take care of the issues of home other than people. Like, health insurance!
