Home again, Home again, Jiggety Jig

Home, safe and mentally unsound. Computer is down so am repairing it (this is being typed at the MV library) but I am back. Many thoughts, many thanks, all later...

Quick thoughts:

1. If it says "Rock, Shell, or History" and "Museum" on it, it's REALLY hard to resist. And I always buy something! Bought a rock, and a guide to California Flowers.

2. The Avenue of the Giants is cooler than words. Even pictures. In a very redwoody way. But it also has a Hobbiton! Yes, I did motor through a tree.

3. The Oregon coast deserves a revisit with camping gear and enough time for a week of beachcombing.

4. I love math. Philomath! Is a town near Corvallis...

5. The Valley of the Moon in Napa/Sonoma beats highway 101 hands down, although you then go drive 80, which will be uncongested when you get there, AND not pay $5 to the bridge hun.

6. Luggage. Lust after hard luggage.

7. Yes, I did drop the bike between Philomath and the Oregon coast. Skinned my knee, makes me feel 6 again. But with that luggage and engine guard, the bike didn't even stop...just kept spinning in a big circle.

out of time! More later!

#3 -- Camping along Oregon Coast:
Lemme know when & where... would dig going up the Oregon Coast & chill for a week.

#5 -- Valley of the Moon:
Yup!!! Lots of neat Hot Springs & cool areas to check out / cruise thru. Agua Caliente, etc...

Catch ya later!
