learnteachRodents have figured too much in my life recently. Before, it was the squirrels that have been eating all the walnuts. Now that the tree is dead that isn't so much a problem, and the birdfeeder is on a shaky enough mounting (coat hangers twisted together) that the squirrels can't climb it.
Of course, the mummified rat showed the lie about how clean I kept the house, and my denial thereby. But now the problem? Pocket Gopher. It's got a large network of tunnels, and last night came up under the fence, and complete pulled one of the new Roma tomatoes I'd just planted to replace the other three that it had eaten, and disappeared it.
I've used a hose. Time to think: stinkyfish!
