Bikes.

Sent the GS in for the 18K checkup; got a Triumph speed loaner from Cal BMW. Ick. It's made for ...well, not for comfort; crotchrocket seating position, bars on full lock before I get used to them, hunched like a crane over a crab, and feels like a top-spins fast, but then it stops and falls down. No handguards, no ABS, no heated handgrips, no protection on the wind (I'm all torso).

Makes me glad to have the GS. New shoes, new pads, engine work done, oil changes--ready to go dancing.

DANCING!

Wow. Dicken's Twice; nice dancing both days. Lovely people, amazing costumes. Kept having to traipse down to look in the Dark Garden windows--quite fun. Waltz, waltz, polka. Yeah! Had a nice time. Next big dance: Pomander Club 12/30. New Year's Eve Eve!

Peter Gabriel (Twice!) L.O.T.R. 2 Towers. Frida. Pedicure. Moving 3 (4!) help so far, and more coming. Trucking Elf for the Family Giving tree. Cutting down Christmas trees with Family. Babysitting nephew. 2 Really Good holiday parties (One with cards, the other with dancing. And Lipsticking Awesome Auzzie Babe.)

On the other hand, but not neccesarily the down side: Garage leaks, car tire flats, hell move (ongoing!), charity requests, work fu, broke the practice Century and having to start over.

Too much to process, but good to comment on it. Now, to sleep...

Oh, and must follow tugrik around and check out his equipment. Gloves, cool....
