Good party

We got a slow start, then I put on the Dr. Demento disk for dancing (the lovely "Masochism Tango", and a polka a adore, "The Cockroach that Ate Cincinnati" and people showed up. Threw them all in the pool (those who had suits) and relaxed, and ate very nice barbeque that my brother provided. Kicked the last survivors out at 10:30 because it was a school night, although they looked ready to party on until it was 1999 again (good crowd!)

It was a lovely party! I was surprised you kicked us all out after you arranged to have the women on one sofa....;) On the other hand, having a party that ends at 10:30 means that we can all get up an post LJs nice and early. (:

Yeah, who knows what might have happened with all us women on the sofa there... Very fun, relaxing, friendly. I need more of that! I know, I need to hold something now. I will. After all, I just had a birthday too. Time to scrub out the hot tub and refill it fresh for the summer!

Sorry i couldn't make it, but crashed as soon as i got back from my camping excursion!!! Happy Belated B-Day to ya.... we should hang out sometime soon, and que up some good grub!!!
