Ok, I've been complimented three times for comments made in session. But more than that, it's clear that I'm not cut out for the academic life; or perhaps I am, but while the pursuit of knowledge is fun, it gets so _narrow_. I'd rather go do network management for dust networks...that'd be fun!

Based on my father's experience, conferences don't show academia at its best.

Jobs are scarce, though, and this has been an open topic at every conference I've been to - and I only go long enough to hear my father speak, usually.

I have to ask. "Dust Networks"?
