WOW! Halloween House!

Went and was a priest at a "haunted house" (actually, all around a house) last night. Tonight is tear down. Wow! HAD A BLAST! It was solid fun for about 3 hours! I don't know what was funnier, scaring people who were trying to be cool, or scaring the ones who were laughing and screaming already. I wasn't one of the "scarers", I was there to set them up for the best figure, Havc of Haven in the best bony costume ever seen. He has horns for his head made out of two cornucopicas wired together and painted white--it's an easy demonic hennin! And fingers made out of PVC pipe that he taped on, made his hands huge and bony. I'll try to score a picture.

Next year I want to make a bunch of Giant Carniverous Plants and a Carniverous Swamp thing costume. What a use for hummus!

My house is a motivation sink right now. I'm going to go buy a sixpack (diet coke probably) and work it on the sixpack theory: Open a brew, start a project, finish the project, finish the brew. But just wandering around is incredibly disheartening as far as getting things done is, as there's too much.

Have not signed up for NaNoMo. Must strengthen resolve and do it, or not.

Life is very good! Made it to the gym this morning. Onward!

Got your message! I had a party of my own to host so could not make it there, alas. But I'm glad you gave me an invite anyway. It was much appreciated. :)

Next time, more time.

Cool, no problem; I think you would have had fun too. Care to be a carnivourous plant monster next year?

Halloween GOOOOOOD! I'm glad you decided to get out there and have a good time. (:

Did Marguerite come and do her "schtick"? She said that she was asked, since the Becks are gone, but wasn't sure she'd make it. When she first told me what she did/does I laughed for *days* :-) .

Oh. My. God.

Yes, yes she did. And boy, can that woman scream!

You and [livejournal.com profile] gizbot should hang out much & motivate eachother. You both work better & are happier with other people around & our house is also a motivation sinkhole.

I'm ready to head back to sunny CA, from sunnier AZ. Hope to see you this weekend (if you're not headed up to Orycon).

What, he wants to be a Halloween Monster?

I think he and I could do a very interesting take on the Blues Brothers. With Richard_T thrown in as Minihim. (No, that does not make Nina MiniJohn. No. No.) (Although, the thought of Andrew in a suit...hmmm.)

you call, we project

Give us a call if you need any help with projects. It's a great excuse to upgrade power tools..... and Jane is the goddess of painting.

Sorry we missed haunted house; Teddy was vibrating at some insanely high frequency after trick or treating. We just didn't have enough shielding to risk it :-)

Haunted House _might_ have been too scary for him. Probably not, but...
Almost all of the house projects are sort/clean/paint thangs.
