The Good, the Bad, the Ugly

The Good: More activism and involvement on new models.
The Bad: We lost.
The Ugly: Cheney/Rove/Bush will take this, esp. the collapse of moderate Republicans, as free rein (reign!)

To do:
1. Note mistakes. Such as: Echo Chamber http://www.salon.com/tech/col/leon/2004/11/03/echo_chamber/index.html
and the lack of a coherent Democratic Strategy other than Beat Bush.
2. Get involved nationally. Write the President with your concerns. Where's Osama? What's up in Afghanistan? How can we move forward in Iraq? What about North Korea?
Write him again.

Paper letters are best. He's a traditionalist.
3. Get involved locally. Fight the drilling in sensitive areas. Be a pollwatcher (Go Judith_s!). Save the Bay. Spend 2 hours a week outside of your house working on something. Go become a Clinic Defender for Planned Parenthood (we'll need them a lot soon.) Look at joining a local school board and/or city committee.
4. Get involved globally. Write letters for Amnesty International. http://www.amnesty.org/

5. Start conserving. Save energy to reduce our need for foriegn oil. Save food in case of bad situations (dehydrate, can, etc.) Save your money for neccesary purposes.
