Need to get more prep work for the classes done, so more can be learned. Not very motivated after 7 hours in the classroom, with a one hour transit in between them. Second class also very unimpressed, unable to solve basic equations.

You mentioned in a previous post that it was difficult to engage some of them on the problems. You could ask your panel of LJ-friends for ideas. Remember that Miles Vorkosigan learned economics by having Tsipis coach him in munitions and supply exercises....

OC feels yer pain, btw. He has had to student teach several times, for honors projects and things, and always feels like he's talking to the walls.
