Not the microwave, not the copier, not my projector, not the students, not the discipline system...somedays I wonder why I show up here at all.

Because they cut you a paycheck once a month. And because there's a student in the masses who probably doesn't do squwat or say anything who will NOT wind up dead or in jail two years from now due to something you said or did. Problem is that kid will never thank you, and you'll likely never know who he/she is.

If you like your teaching colleagues, I highly recommend finding a bar close to the school and "meeting" there after school on Fridays.
