Bad Choices

And Changes.

Wisdom comes from...experience. Experience comes from adventure. Adventure comes from bad choices.

I feel like I've had a lot of wisdom gained without much motion this last two year period. Now, mind you, the medical problems aren't something I had THAT much control over, but I'm going about school the wrong way, going about my health the wrong way, finances, house, vehicle. I'm done with being so poor that I have to worry about money all the time, and done with letting other people affect my moods so much.

What does this mean? I've become an ab devo (thanks Mari.) Last night in a conversation I realized the time, apologized, and did my 100 ab exercises. Was it socially correct? No. Was it accepted? Sure. What do I need to do? Change the image of my self to a reality of action and motion (and more sleep from exhaustion).

Money? School without a certification doesn't work. School is still women's work in the negative way, and the number of people who know more than I do about education and tell me this is very high (and very irritating, of course, walk a mile in my underpaid shoes.) And I'm not even a real teacher. Back to tech. Doing what? Don't care as long as it pays. I can work any job.

Car? Get some money and buy a beater commuter that I don't have to work on. It's not my desire to do cars...

there's the bell. Back to school!

Hey! I just added you as a connection on LinkedIn. If there's any way I can use my Empire-given Powers for Good, here, just ask!

Do any of these changes mean we get to see you more?

Yes!

But not food related, nor anything costing much. It'll get figured out.

Great, because I'm all into not doing food-related stuff too! Walks, hikes, stuff.

Can I tag along? Seems like all I do with friends these days focuses on eating and/or drinking massive amounts.

I am up for this too and would love to be included. Focusing more on moving and less on food/drink is what I need right now. I know A&S is this weekend but what about on Sunday or the following weekend?

Excellent! Would you prefer the morning or afternoon? Where do you want to walk/hike?

I'm not sure - got any favorite trails? Maybe early afternoon?
We can meet you and JT at his place.

I guess it should not be surprising about how much of our social life revolves around food. Try doing any kind of social activity that lasts more than two hours and the food monster rears it's head.

Yay for ab devo! More yay for doing it despite the setting. Many good vibes sent from Italy for a job you enjoy, paying more than you need ASAP.

When I saw that picture I was afraid you'd hurt yourself again! I'm glad that's not the case. Obviously I'm out of touch -- What is an ab devo? If it's good for you, I'm glad for it, but I am curious.

Adventure comes from risky choices. Risk is not inherently bad. Rather the contrary - a life entirely without risk is no life at all.
